Walter Ramsey Roffey, son of George Roffey and Eliza Harrow, was born on 11 January 1842 in Carshalton, Surrey.1,4,5 He was baptised on 20 February 1842 in Carshalton, Surrey.6
Walter Ramsey was the youngest of six known children. His siblings were Eliza (bap 1827), George (b c1830), Elizabeth (b c1832), John (b and d 1833) and William (b 1836).
